Introduction

IMPACT+'s search functionality is one of the best ways to discover new posts, courses, events, and more! Our brand-new search includes helpful features such as:

  • Predictive search that recommends related results as you type in your keywords

  • A full search history so you can revisit a previous search at any time

  • Filterable results to help you narrow down your search results

  • Both global and page-specific search to allow you to either search all of IMPACT+ or just a specific section of it

Search all of IMPACT+ using the global search

You can access global search anywhere on the site by clicking on the magnifying glass icon in the upper left hand corner of the main navigation.

With global search you can search for things like:

  • Courses

  • Learning paths

  • Certifications

  • Past and upcoming events

  • Communities

  • Members and certified coaches

  • Discussions


How to use the global search

Step 1: Click on the magnifying glass icon in the upper left hand corner of the main navigation.

Step 2: Enter your search term into the search field. As you type in your keywords our search functionality will recommend search results to help you find what you're looking for faster.

Step 3: Press enter or select "Show all results" to see a full list of all of the results for the keywords you searched for.

Step 4: From the left hand side of the search results page, you can filter the results by clicking on any of the tabs.


Search within a single section of IMPACT using the page-specific search

Page-specific search is available on the Learn, Events, and Communities pages and allows you narrow your searches to one specific section in IMPACT+. Using the page-specific search can come in handy when looking for a specific resource such as a course or an event.

You can access the page-specific search in the sidebar on the left hand side of the learn, events, and communities pages.


How to use page-specific search

Step 1: Click into the search field in the sidebar on the left hand side of the page

Step 2: Enter your search term into the search field and press enter.

Step 3: After pressing enter you'll be shown a list of all the results related to your search. From this view you'll be able to narrow down your results using the filters on the left hand side of the modal. You can filter by categories such as resource type, topics, roles, skill levels, and membership level.
