Starting New Discussions
There are a lot of conversations taking place in IMPACT+ and while we always encourage new conversations, don’t start a new conversation if it is already being discussed. Let’s avoid the clutter and make it easy for all members to learn.
Also, when creating new discussions (posts), please only share photos and videos that you’ve taken, created, or have the right to share.
No Promotions or Spam
Self-promotion, spam, and irrelevant links are not allowed. If you're going to share content, please add context to your post about why it's relevant for the other members of IMPACT+. If you are unsure, please contact an admin privately for clarification (you can use the chat bubble to reach an admin).
No Hate Speech, Politics, or Bullying
Bullying of any kind isn't allowed, and degrading comments about topics such as race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender, or identity will not be tolerated. As a supportive community, comments should be constructive and solution-focused.
Be Kind, Courteous, and Curious
We're all in this together to create a welcoming environment. Let's treat everyone with respect. Healthy debates are natural, but kindness and curiosity are required.
Respect Everyone's Privacy
Being part of this community requires mutual trust. Authentic, expressive discussions make communities great, but may also be sensitive and private. What's shared in this community should stay in the community. Please ask permission before sharing outside the group.
Membership Privilege
Being part of IMPACT+ is an amazing opportunity but also a privilege. At the discretion of the moderators of IMPACT+, if you fail to abide by the rules and guidelines of the IMPACT+ community, admins reserve the right to remove members from the community, and paying members will be removed without a refund.
Have Fun and Learn Something New
The IMPACT+ community is full of fun and creative minds who want to learn and grow together. Be yourself, connect with your fellow community members, and learn something new!
IMPACT+ Community Equal Treatment Policy
We are committed to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in our community and safeguarding those who may face inequality or harassment due to one or more of the 9 protected characteristics of age, disability, sex, sexual orientation, race, religion or belief, gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy or parental responsibilities.
We also work diligently to protect other characteristics that may result in a person becoming under-represented or marginalized for example; socio-economic status or caring roles. We also strive to create a community free of discrimination and prejudice that allows everyone to bring their authentic selves.
In our online community and at in-person events, IMPACT employees and members are expected to make every effort to accommodate all abilities through our platform, content, and experiences. This comes in the form of (but is not limited to) providing captions and transcripts, being aware of noise levels and lighting and posting proper warnings if required, keeping color and text readers in mind when creating visual content, and considering wheelchair accessibility paths at our venues.
IMPACT believes everyone in our community has the right to learn and participate and are all entitled to the same protection and respect. Racial, national origin, ethnic, or language discrimination can consist of jokes, negative comments, and outright harassment, none of which will be tolerated.
IMPACT has a zero-tolerance policy for sexual harassment, racial harassment, or any other form of harassment and discrimination (religious, language, sexual orientation, et cetera). If you feel that you have been harassed, discriminated against, or otherwise treated negatively because of your race, religion, gender, or other characteristics, should report the harassment to our membership team via [email protected].
